Junlan Feng IEEE Fellow, Chief Scientist at China Mobile Research, Board Chair of Linux Foundation Network. Dr. Feng received her Ph.D. from Chinese Academy of Sciences, and joined AT&T Labs Research in 2001 as a principal researcher on speech recognition, language understanding and data mining until 2013. She has led R&D of China Mobile on artificial intelligence and intelligent operation since September 2013. She had served as an IEEE speech and language committee member and an IEEE industry committee member.

Qun Liu an ACL Fellow, is the Chief Scientist of Speech and Natural Language Processing of Huawei. His research interests lie in the areas of Natural Language Processing and Machine Translation. His main academic contributions are on Chinese language processing, syntax-based statistical machine translation, pre-trained language models (training, compression, applications), etc.

Nancy F. Chen is a group leader at I2R, A*STAR. Her team works on conversational AI and language generation research at I2R, A*STAR. She is the program chair of ICLR 2023, 2023 IEEE SPS Distinguished Lecturer, ISCA Board Member, and 100 Women in Tech in Singapore (2021) list. She has won numerous other professional and research awards, including many best paper awards. Speech evaluation technology developed by her team is deployed at the Ministry of Education in Singapore to support home-based learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. nomopai is spin-off company that uses technology from her lab to make customer agents more confident and empathetic. Prior to working at A*STAR, Dr. Chen worked at MIT Lincoln Laboratory on multilingual speech processing.

Dr. Haitao Mi is a Principal Researcher at AI Lab of Tencent America. His main research interests include Natural Language Processing, Dialog Systems, Machine Translation, and Deep Learning Algorithms. Dr. Mi received his Ph.D. degree from Institute of Computing Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (ICT/CAS) in 2009. He was an assistant Professor at ICT/CAS (2009-2012), a Research Staff Member at IBM Watson Research Center (2012-2017), and a Staff Engineer at Ant Group US (2017-2022). He has published more than forty papers in top-tier NLP conferences (e.g. ACL, EMNLP, NAACL, COLING). He received Best Paper Finalist in EMNLP 2008. He also served as an area co-chair of the NAACL 2015 and 2019, ACL 2017, and EMNLP 2019.

Zhijian Ou is an associate professor with the Department of Electronic Engineering at Tsinghua University. He received his Ph.D. from Tsinghua University in 2003. He currently serves as Associate Editor of "IEEE/ACM Transactions on Audio, Speech and Language Processing", Editorial Board Member of "Computer Speech and Language", member of IEEE Speech and Language Processing Technical Committee, and was General Chair of SLT 2021, Tutorial Chair of INTERSPEECH 2020. The broad goals of his research program are - proposing new models of speech and language, developing new methods for learning and inference with those models, and applying them to real-world tasks in speech and language processing.
